What To Expect:
This is an outdoor event, please dress comfortably with flat shoes. Do not forget your sunscreen and hat for the winter sun and a jacket for when the sun goes down. Gates Open: Gates will open at 10am, there will be performances throughout the day ending at 8pm. Load Shedding: We will have alternative power supplies in the event of Load shedding. Mobile Phone Signal: This is a connected event, with Wifi available.
What should I bring to Jacaranda Day?
– Sun protection! Hat, shirt and sunscreen. – Your kids! Jacaranda Day captured by HUAWEI P60 pro is a very family-friendly atmosphere and there is something for all ages, so bring them along. – ID must be produced to purchase any Alcoholic beverages. – Medication: there will be First Aid services for emergencies, but bring any medications/treatments you might require if you suffer from a serious illness or condition, such as epilepsy or asthma. – Remember to include your contact details on any medication. – Wet-weather gear – Picnic blankets and camping chairs will be permitted into the venue. Umbrellas allowed in designated areas only
What Should I leave at Home?
– Air horns, musical instruments, loud hailers and whistles – Alcohol and drugs – Animals (services animals are welcome) – Any item that could be used as a weapon – Any item that may restrict viewing – Audio recorders, drones, camera tripods, selfie-sticks and professional cameras that do not have media approval – Pull wagons, trolleys, skateboards, rollerblades/skate, scooter & bicycles all need to be left outside the venue – Commercial brand take away food or beverage – Frisbees, balloons and balls – Fireworks or flares – All drinks – Glass or ceramic items, including water bottles – Laser lights – Gazebos and shade structures – Unauthorised advertising material or flyers
Can I bring a Cooler Box to Jacaranda Day:
ONLY Soft cooler bags are permitted
What Food Can I bring to Jacaranda Day:
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event. Only food for children will be allowed.
Are Drinks allowed:
You are only permitted to bring SEALED plastic water bottles into the event. Both alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages and water will be available for purchase.
Parking:
There will be demarcated parking with security on sight for all vehicles, including a separate demarcated UBER drop and pick-up zone.
Emergency services:
We will have emergency services on site including Medical.
Kids:
This will be a family-friendly event with a designated Kiddies area that will be monitored at all times.
Cash & Card:
Cash and Card payments will be accepted by all food and drink vendors. There will also be ATMs on site.
Tickets:
You can print your tickets or show the tickets on your phone to our team at the entrance. Please have the barcode showing so that your tickets can be scanned on your phone or your printed tickets. Book tickets here
